When I open it, however, it says "To open "Eclipse" you need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime." It provided a link to Java for OS X 2014-001 ( ) which I followed and downloaded. I have installed eclipse, specifically "Eclipse IDE for Java Developers" for Mac OS X (Cocoa) 64-bit, i.e., eclipse-java-mars-R-macosx-cocoa-x86_64.tar (I'm running Yosemite, i.e. It tells me to use legacy Java, then (when given legacy Java), it tells me my Java is too old. Summary: I have installed Eclipse, but can't get it to run. ![]()
